GREEN MOUNTAIN

From the green mountain
I see the grey clouds,
but they are in distance, far.

From the green mountain
I watch stately ships.
I presume they are going to war.

Further and further towards cloudy day
are these ships that
are going to war,

but the sailors don't notice -
their thoughts on great battle,
while on the green mountain I pray.
